Does what I do help the Lord? does what I do make me more popular amoungst the Christains, does what I do benefit me, I should be commended, and called good... why don't people notice me, I wanna show people how good I am...juz coz I'm a Christain...

You see... it's not about what you can do and how good you are. Even in the sight of pastors and great people in the church, or even you group of friends. It's only superficial to boast about what you can do for the Lord, and what you have done for Him, or in another words, it's pointless to, as the verse before this clearly states 17But "If someone wants to boast, he should boast ONLY ABOUT the Lord."NCV,Youth Bible.
You see, in everything you do, do it to the Lord, coz it's only through Him will you be accepted, only through Him you will be approved, and after, don't boast about it, saying I have done this and that, but in stead boast about what the Lord has done, and He has done this and that...
It's not what people think that counts, It's what Jesus thinks
